The South Building of the Women’s and Children’s Clinical Teaching and Research facility at West China Second Hospital of Sichuan University was approved in 1999 and opened in 2002. Over time, outdated infrastructure and limited space created a mismatch between resources and patient demand, affecting the hospital’s ability to grow in medical services, academic research, and talent development.
In 2019, the hospital began a five-year renovation with minimal disruption to daily operations. As part of the Pediatric and Obstetrics & Gynecology smart ward upgrade, Yarward installed multiple terminal devices designed for different ward scenarios, integrating them with the hospital’s information platform.
